In 1959, she exhibited a work at the Rome Quadriennale, an event in which she would take part also in 1986 and 1999. In the Sixties, she worked as a restorer with Caterina Marcenaro, an experience that spawned the idea that in order to dialogue with space, the canvas must be free from the support. She also began a fascinating documentation of natural substances, which would give rise to her Cromogrammi series.
