Jorrit Tornquist

ABC-ARTE presents The idea of colour, an exhibition dedicated to Jorrit Tornquist, curated by Flaminio Gualdoni and developed in collaboration with Archivio Jorrit Tornquist. Bringing together historical and recent works, the exhibition explores over sixty years of Tornquist’s research into colour, perception and space.

ABC-ARTE presents “Jorrit Tornquist. Color Is Space in Itself”, curated by Flaminio Gualdoni, in collaboration with the Jorrit Tornquist Archive. The exhibition marks the first major solo presentation of Tornquist in an Italian private gallery, offering a critical and historical reappraisal of his work from the 1960s to the early 2000s. On view at ABC-ARTE, Genoa, from January 29 to April 14, 2026.
