ABC-ARTE is pleased to present Chromatic Renaissance, the new solo exhibition by German artist Ingrid Floss, opening on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Milan venue of the gallery, ABC-ARTE ONE OF, Via Santa Croce 21.
With this exhibition, Floss deepens her exploration of the relationship between intuition and control, balance and transformation. Her works, rich in material density and vibrant color fields, emerge from a painting process that alternates impulsive gestures with moments of reflection, as the artist seeks harmony between energy and stillness, chaos and order.
Chromatic Renaissance is a journey into the regenerative power of color, understood as a spiritual and vital force. In Floss’s canvases, chromatic layers evolve into inner spaces where light seems to rise from within, suggesting a continuous dialogue between the visible and the invisible.
The exhibition’s title is inspired by a musical project dedicated to Italian Renaissance composers, recently released by the Munich-based label Winter & Winter, featuring one of Floss’s paintings on its cover. As in music, in her painting each tone becomes a voice, each light a resonance.
Chromatic Renaissance will be on view from November 27, 2025, to January 31, 2026, at ABC-ARTE ONE OF, Milan.
The opening reception will take place on Thursday, November 27, from 6:30 p.m.
