With Relazioni invisibili (Invisible Relations), ABC-ARTE presents the second chapter of an exhibition project dedicated to Alan Bee, following Correspondances, an exhibition previously hosted at the gallery’s Milan venue.
Curated by Paolo Campiglio, the exhibition brings together works that span the artist’s entire career, from his early beginnings to his most recent painting cycles, offering an interpretation that is both distinct from and complementary to the Milan exhibition. Rather than a chronological reconstruction, Relazioni invisibili re-examines Bee’s poetics through the core themes that underpin his work: matter, nature, memory, and collective consciousness.
Active within the post-war German art scene, Alan Bee developed a unique body of work, maintaining an independent stance relative to the dominant movements of his time. While engaging in a dialogue with figures such as Emil Schumacher, Paul Klee, and Joseph Beuys, Bee forged a deeply personal language; one in which the practice of painting, the observation of nature, and scientific reflection converge into a body of work of rare consistency.

LA TRASFORMAZIONE NON MECCANICA DELLA MATERIA
-
PAOLO CAMPIGLIO
